This site reads the AlkaLean label rather than the AlkaLean sales page, because the two do not entirely agree and the difference is the most useful thing anyone can tell you about this product.

The two lines that started it

The bottle says "GLP-1 Advanced Support*" and it says "30 Capsules". The first borrows a term the public learned from prescription medicine. The second contradicts the official directions, which describe a gummy. Neither of those is a scandal and both are worth knowing before you spend $89.

How we handle the GLP-1 line

Carefully, and in both directions. We explain what GLP-1 is — a hormone everyone produces after eating — and what GLP-1 receptor agonists are — drugs, prescribed and monitored. We state that none of the five named ingredients is one of those drugs, and that the asterisk points at the standard disclaimer. We do not tell you the claim is false, because "supports" is a legal category rather than an assertion of equivalence. We tell you what it does and does not commit the manufacturer to.

What is not on this site

• Any suggestion that this product is comparable to, or a substitute for, a prescription weight-management medicine. It is not, and that decision belongs with a doctor.
• Testimonials or star ratings. The official page carries three named quotes; we cannot verify them and do not reprint them.
• Invented doses. Five ingredients are named and none is quantified.
• Any claim that a supplement treats, cures or prevents a disease.
